Licensed Practical Nurse Weekend Manager
Will work 16 hours and on-call coverage.
Ideal Candidate:
• Nursing degree (Licensed Practical Nurse) from accredited program
• Supervisory experience
• Active state nursing license
• Current CPR certification
• Current First Aide certification
• Enjoys serving seniors
• Excellent customer service and hospitality
• Trustworthy and dependable
• Works efficiently and effectively with little to no supervision
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Professional
• Patient and compassionate
• Multitasks efficiently
Working Conditions:
• Works in office and throughout community
• Subject to frequent interruptions
• Works beyond normal working hours, on weekends and in other positions temporarily as necessary
• Subject to falls, burns from equipment, odors, etc., throughout the working day
Essential Functions:
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the English language
• Must practice regular and predictable attendance
• Must follow company policies including harassment, code of ethics, complaint procedures, safety, sanitation, confidentiality, dress code and resident rights
• Must knock before entering a resident’s apartment
• Must assist with evacuation of residents and supports residents in times of crisis (i.e., natural disaster)
• Must deliver quality resident care services to residents
• Must be able to communicate and function in an interdisciplinary team
• Must be able to concentrate and use reasoning skills and good judgment
• Must be able to sit, stand, bend, lift, push, pull, stoop, walk and move intermittently during working hours
• Must be able to lift 40 lbs floor to waist, lift 10 lbs waist to shoulder, lift and carry 40 lbs and push/pull 40 lbs
