Assistant Human Resource Manager
BLI is seeking a full-time Assistant Human Resource Manager who will be teaming with the Director of Human Resources to attract, retain and implement employee development.
Role Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Process payroll and benefit administration.
- Assist with creating and enforcing policies and ensuring compliance throughout the company.
- Review and update websites for job openings and closings.
- Review applications and coordinate communication with candidates, schedule and assist in interviews.
- Welcome new hires to BLI. Facilitates new hire forms, enrollments and onboarding.
- Maintain confidential personnel files and personnel actions.
- Assist employees and supervisors with basic interpretations of HR policies and procedures.
- Respond to payroll/time and attendance software questions, corrections, changes, reports and updates.
- Perform audit of, and communicate with directors for updates to, job descriptions as necessary.
- Assist with day-to-day operations and confidentiality of HR functions and duties.
- Be a Core Values ambassador for the HR department. Display and command excellent representation of BLI's values to all employees in serving our customers and interaction with each other.
Skills and Abilities Required:
- Knowledge of HR laws, rules, regulations and guidelines with ability to research questions.

Experience and Qualifications:
- University degree in related subject preferred, but not required.
- Minimum 3 - 5 years of experience in HR or related field preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and analytical skills.
