The City of Troy is accepting applications to create an eligibility list for lateral hires to serve as full-time police officers. Requirements: Certificate attesting to successful completion of the Minimum Standards Basic Law Enforcement Training Course, US Citizen, good moral character and able to physically perform the essential job functions, speak and understand English, and completed at least two years as a full-time sworn officer in any municipal, county, university, or state law enforcement agency, with transferrable enforcement training course or its equivalent. Compensation, if selected, after one year base salary is $66,947 with overtime opportunities and benefits.
