This position requires at least 2 years of experience in Collections. The ideal candidate must have an extensive background managing Bankruptcies, Garnishments & Foreclosures from start to finish; communicating with Attorneys on all Legal matters including Court appearances, legal filings & legal communications. The ideal candidate will be required to preserve CUA’s assets by controlling delinquent loan accounts, collecting delinquent loan payments, &/or recovering collateral. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Experience - One month to twelve months of similar or related experience.
- Education - A high school education or GED.
- Interpersonal Skills - A significant level of trust and diplomacy is required, in addition to normal courtesy and tact. Work involves extensive personal contact with others and/or is usually of a personal or sensitive nature. Work may involve motivating or influencing others.
- Other Skills - Professional phone skills are required at all times providing excellent member service. Must be comfortably efficient in Excel and Word
