Exploration Place, a Science and Technology Museum, seeks a full-time Facilities and Exhibits Manager. This position is responsible for all aspects of maintaining the facility, exhibits and grounds. Job responsibilities include maintenance and repair of all HVAC, electrical and plumbing equipment, supervision of the technical services and custodial staff, compliance with all building codes, ordinances and laws and the planning and oversight of traveling exhibit installations and de-installations. This position requires a good work ethic, attention to detail, strong management and organizational skills and a positive attitude. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Prior experience in facilities management required. Fluency in Spanish a plus. Work schedule is generally Monday through Friday, with a 40 hour week but must be able to respond to emergencies and be flexible to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.
