Special Events CoordinatorExploration Place
Seeking an energetic and creative special events coordinator who will assist with operation and promotion of Exploration Place's events, fundraisers and exhibit/dome theater openings. The coordinator's duties will include serving on internal committees, assisting with each event set-up, staffing, security, vendors and sponsors. The ideal candidate must be detail oriented and possess superior project management skills. Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications or sales required. Minimum of 3 years of proven, successful experience in event coordination/promotion preferred.
This is a part time position requiring approximately 25 hours per week, Tuesday - Saturday, with some evenings and weekends. Valid driver's license is required. Spanish fluency a plus. No phone calls, please.
