Primary Responsibilities
Program Oversight & Administration
The Director of Programs oversees the FIRC’s programs in the areas of family development, early childhood education, home visitation, health enrollment, housing, and social emotional wellness. Program oversight generally includes working with the Executive Director and program managers to determine program strategy, set program goals, monitor progress, assess program capacity, ensure quality, assess outcomes, and promote learning to improve program effectiveness over time. Specific additional responsibilities include:
- Supervise six staff / program managers, including performance reviews, staff coaching, and conflict resolution.
- Identify ways to increase program capacity without increasing staff. Regularly assess capacity and systems to ensure effective caseloads.
- Identify ways to improve program quality in order to improve outcomes for clients.
- Provide support to Program Managers, facilitate communication between them, and participate in events to help build a strong, cohesive team.
- Through facilitated monthly meetings, work with the Finance Director and Program Managers to ensure that each program is operating within its established budget, addressing issues as necessary.
- Oversee FIRC’s data collection and analysis program. Ensure that programs are data and outcome driven
- Oversee FIRC’s front desk staff and ensure a smooth transition for clients from entry to service.
