The Job. The Administrative Assistant (AA) will 1) coordinate diversity-related planning and responsibilities; develop and implement the organizations diversity initiatives and strategy to attract, hire, and maintain a diverse workplace; assist in identifying DEI resources for the District; 2) be responsible for human resources generally, and 3) managing day-to-day travel coordination and other administrative responsibilities as needed.
You must:
- Have a bachelor’s degree, preferably in Human Resources; Society, Ethics & Human Behavior; or a similar field
- Be a US citizen or have work authorization
- Be committed to our mission and work well in a team environment
- Have a valid driver’s license
You should:
- Have the ability to research, comprehend, and apply complex regulations or policy guidelines
- Have excellent interpersonal, automation, and analytical skills
- Show meticulous attention to detail
- Have the ability to think logically, research matters, and demonstrate problem solving and analytical skills
- Have a history of completing duties on time
- Be able to multi-task
Bilingual applicants are highly desirable.
Salary & Benefits. The salary range for an Administrative Assistant is $58,000–$109,000, depending primarily on experience. The FPD also offers generous benefits:
