Job Summary:
Under minimal supervision, coordinates and manages the daily operations of the office of the Associate Dean for Accreditation & Reporting. Oversees all related office functions and work processes. Demonstrates the professionalism needed to handle sensitive and confidential matters.
- Carries out smooth and efficient operations of the office by preparing pre- submission binders used in meeting American Bar Association, Association of American Law Schools, Law School Admissions Council, US News and World Report, National Jurist, and diverse other reporting requirements.
- Develops interpersonal contacts that are varied and often at the higher level and tends to involve a broad range of problem-solving activities.
- Coordinates, prepares, and maintains correspondence concerning accreditation, membership review, and USNWR.

- Composes and/or prepares correspondence, memoranda, promotional materials, forms, newsletters, manuals, and reports using appropriate word processing and spreadsheet tools for the Associate Dean of Academic Affairs and Accreditation & Reporting.
- Maintains working copies of draft academic schedules for the full-time and part-time program. Coordinates revisions of the draft schedule with the Registrar’s office, the Senior Associate Dean for Experiential Programs, the Associate Dean for International and Graduate Programs, and the library director. Interfaces with publications department to ensure that our website includes current copies of documents related to the academic schedule.
- Assist and supports the Associate Dean for Accreditation and Reporting in accumulating data used in producing accreditation and other external reports.
- Communicates with student body about the academic schedule, including by sharing drafts, tracking student questions, and sending individual answers in response to student concerns.
- Serves as the University's credit card user for departmental transactions. Adheres to University's credit card policies and procedures. Manages all purchasing operations of supplies and equipment for the unit. Processes requisitions, purchase orders, TARs, and vendor setup transactions. Coordinates all travel and prepares travel reimbursements in PantherSoft for the office.
- Provides occasional back up support as directed to the Dean of the College of Law and/or other faculty members.
- Coordinates logistics including contacting vendors for comparative pricing, ordering, setting up, and cleaning up food for meetings, acquiring meeting room/space, sending out invitations, and keeping track of attendance.
- Assists the Associate Dean in recruiting and onboarding doctrinal adjuncts in the J.D. program. Communicates with these adjuncts regarding their teaching and scheduling preferences.
- May participate, as needed, in interviews of administrative/staff candidates and provide recommendation to Hiring Manager.
- Gathers teaching and scheduling preferences of the full-time and part time faculty.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree and two (2) years of office or related experience providing administrative support or coordinating functions of an office or department.
Salary: $44,057 - $50,000
