ABOUT GALAXY
Galaxy Technologies, located in Winfield, Kansas near the heart of the Air Capital, is a “best value” business partner to companies around the world with complex design and manufacturing needs. We are a major supplier for the design, manufacturing and assembly of production tooling for the aerospace, defense and plastic markets. Major customers include Boeing, Spirit Aerosystems, Northrop Grumman, Lockheed Martin, Rubbermaid and Coleman.
Galaxy Technologies focuses on three strategic business centers of excellence—engineering, tooling and plastics tooling.
Founded in 1985 as Galaxy Tool the company has grown exponentially, now employing nearly 140 individuals in our more than 115,000 square feet of modern manufacturing facilities.
In 2008, Galaxy Tool was purchased by Gladstone Investment Corporation, a publicly-traded (NASDAQ:GAIN) business development company, and the majority shareholder of Galaxy Tool Holding Corporation, Galaxy Technologies’ parent company. The sale has enabled Galaxy to raise additional growth capital and become a leading competitor in the marketplace.
In 2011, we changed our name to Galaxy Technologies. The new name was chosen to better reflect the entire scope of the company’s capacity and capabilities.
Galaxy Technologies focuses on three strategic business centers of excellence—engineering, tooling and plastics tooling. Our reputation for design, manufacturing and installation of precision aerospace tooling is astounding. We have the capacity and resources to produce the highest quality products and services, and we consistently exceed customer requirements. From planning and design to engineering and production, Galaxy has invested in people, equipment and technology to deliver this commitment.
