Digital Marketing Specialist
Superhero Wanted
(Ok, we're really wanting a Digital Marketing Specialist, but it's practically the same thing.)
Grand Junction Media, Inc. (that's us) is searching (well, searching may be a tad strong, we're looking, well, that's not right either. Really, we hope YOU are looking, which is why you're reading this) for a full-time Digital Marketing Specialist (which could be you) that can help our customers build their business (ok, their business is already "built", there's a building, but we want you to help them expand their business, got it?) with digital marketing products (that's stuff) and services (that's you and some other stuff.)
You'll be representing four platforms (not one, not two, not three, but four!) for Grand Junction Media, which includes the Daily Sentinel, The Nickel (those are our newspapers), four radio stations (it's radio, you know, like the music in your car) and Digital Strategies (that's the online stuff on the internet.)
The Digital Marketing Specialist (again, that's you, but only if we hire you) will also play a critical role in developing (making stuff), supporting (answering a lot of questions, maybe fixing some stuff occasionally) and delivering (like getting pizza, but different) an integrated digital marketing campaign
(Oh boy! Big, fancy sounding words) and social media strategy to achieve the company's new account origination goals (Scoooooore!!!).
Must be comfortable doing Customer Needs Analysis with our reps (that's the other peeps that work here) and all size businesses (no, size doesn't always matter.) You must be able to develop a Digital Strategy (that's like a plan) based on information from the CNA (that stuff we mentioned before) and must have 3 years experience (no, sorry, but watching cat videos doesn't count.) You must also be familiar with Social Media Marketing (that's the facebooks, instagrams, twitters, stuff like that), Geo Fencing (no swords required), Targeted Display ads (pointing at stuff), Word Press website builds (no hammer needed), online video (now we're back to the cat videos again, geesh!), email marketing (the stuff filling up your inbox), OTT and be highly creative (good at making up stuff, but in a good way).
The Digital Marketing Specialist works with our national vendors (that's the peeps that don't live here) to ensure on-time fulfillment and on-going marketing solutions (that means solving stuff, not "solutions" like you rinse your contacts in.)
Great benefits (that's the good stuff), salary (money!) and commission (mo money!), based on experience level (ya know, how much of this you've done before, if it was good.)
Grand Junction Media is an equal opportunity employer (which means we'll hire anyone, except Bob, 'cause we already hired him last month.)
Oh, and so we know you read this all the way through, tell us who your favorite muppet is too.
