Behavioral Health Coach
Minimum of 60 college credits. Provides support to youth and their families by assisting with day-to-day activities in the home, school and other community settings to enable the family to remain intact and for the youth to remain in the school setting. ($16.05/hour)
Qualifications and Duties
(Applicable to all clinical staff)
The following are qualifications and duties of Behavioral Health Rehab Specialist (BHRS/Care Coordinator) and Behavioral Health Professional (BHP):
BHRS/Care Coordinator
Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Sociology, or Criminal Justice CMII-R Certification (ODMHSAS Certification)
BHP
Masters Degree in a behavioral social science field and actively and regularly receiving board approved supervision, and extended supervision by a fully licensed clinician if board's supervision requirement is met but the individual is not yet licensed, to become licensed by one of the licensing boards listed in (A) through (F) below. The exemptions from licensure under 59§1353 (4) (Supp. 2000) and (5), 59§1903 (C) and (D) (Supp. 2000), 59§1925.3 (B) (Supp.2000) and (C), and 59§1932 (C) (Supp.2000) and (D) do not apply to Outpatient Behavioral Health Services.
- Psychology,
- Social Work (clinical specialty only),
- Professional Counselor,
- Marriage and Family Therapist,
- Behavioral Practitioner, or
- Alcohol and Drug Counselor
Duties:
Including, but not limited to, the following: case evaluation and assessment, individual and group counseling, case management/rehabilitative services. Screening and crisis intervention in office as needed. Completion of agency documentation in accurate and timely manner.
