Gray Plant Mooty, a prominent national law firm, is currently seeking a Business Development & Marketing Assistant. We are looking for a creative, energetic assistant to support the department’s initiatives. The assistant will support the BD&M Managers with client events, tradeshows/sponsorships and assembling client–facing business development materials. The assistant will collaborate with managers, attorneys and other departments within the firm to compile statistics for law firm rankings and maintain RFP, pitches and proposal win/loss database. The position will maintain inventory of firm promotional marketing collateral and manage updates to materials. The assistant will process department bills and update budget summary details. In addition, the assistant will maintain and track various calendars and databases to ensure accurate information within the department. The assistant will provide administrative support to the department and will assist with proofreading marketing materials.
Qualifications include two to four years of office experience, preferably in marketing, or a college degree, preferred. Strong organizational and interpersonal skills; ability to develop effective working relationships with all levels of personnel; strong client-service orientation and focus; excellent communications skills, both oral and written with strong editing and proofreading skills; creative problem solving skills; and exceptional attention to detail skills. The assistant must be able to handle multiple projects, prioritize and meet deadlines. The ideal candidate will be highly self-motivated and able to work both independently and as part of a team, possess a working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and have experience with CRM database entry highly desired.
