The Greater Cedar Rapids community Foundation is a public foundation whose mission is to help donors give in meaningful ways, to strengthen nonprofits, and to provide leadership that supports a vibrant community. The Community Foundation provides professional philanthropic services, strategic investments, grants to nonprofits, and community leadership. The Community Foundation holds assets totaling more than $123 million and nearly 700 different charitable funds, large and small, established by families, nonprofit agencies and businesses. The organization awards approximately $6 million each year to nearly 400 nonprofit organizations in Linn County and beyond.
