Independent Living Counselor - Wichita, KS

Apply to be an Independent Living Counselor (ILC) and become part of our team of dedicated disability advocates as our Wichita area ILC. Essential functions of the position include: Customer focus - ability to provide excellent service to our clients. Communication - ability to listen to others and communicate in an effective manner with consideration for the impact and consequences. Ability to use correct grammar, spelling, sentence structure and communicate a message verbally and in writing. Attention to detail and analytical thinking - ability to approach a problem by using logical, systematic, and sequential approaches. Note: Our organization's primary location is in Lawrence, KS and together, our team of Independent Living Counselors cover the entire state of Kansas. This position is for a Wichita area ILC and may include light travel in and around the Wichita metro/surrounding areas to meet directly with consumers. Reliable transportation is a requirement.
