We are currently looking for someone to join our Document Management team as a Document Management Associate - Exceptions at our office at Kansas Farm Bureau in Manhattan.
As a Document Management Associate - Exceptions you will administer loan and government finance exceptions for the Bank’s consumer, in-house consumer real estate, government finance and commercial loan portfolios. You will use our credit management system, Credit Quest, and spreadsheets to gather, track and report information.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Manages exceptions on bank’s current consumer, in-house consumer real estate, government finance and commercial loan portfolio to include, perfected liens, final title policies and other state and federal filings including anjual financial statements and tax returns
- Builds good working relationships with title companies, county offices, loan officers and other team members as needed to track and obtain information from them on exceptions
- Maintains Credit Quest, ACT and Jack Henry on the status of exceptions needed, so Officers and other staff can depend on the accuracy of the data in each system
- Scans documentation for the Records Management department to index
- Assumes responsibility for related duties as required or assigned
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
- A high school diploma or GED is required
- An associate or undergraduate degree in finance is preferred
- One to two years previous banking or fianical institution experience and loan knowledge is preferred
TECHNICAL SKILLS & ABILITIES
- An intermediate level of computer proficiency and literacy
- Moderate to advanced proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Office products is essential
- Working knowledge of Credit Quest is preferred
- Must type at least 40 wpm accurately
- Basic math skills required
- Attention to detail, dependability, adaptability, drive and initiative are essential
- Solid internal and external customer service abilities and communication skills
- Able to make decisions on your own, while working as a team
- Ability to take instructions from a number of people
