Residential Loan Coordinator Part-Time

and services – in person, on the phone, or even online. We are looking for someone to join our team at our east Wichita Loan Production office as a part-time
Residential Loan Coordinator.
As a Residential Loan Coordinator, you will perform a variety of duties including customer follow up, pipeline monitoring, communicating and assisting processing
and other departments to ensure timely closings and superior customer service. Working as a team with the loan officer and processors to gather information
required for the completion of closing a residential home loan. Extensive contact with customers and the public both in person and on the telephone.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
• Answers incoming telephone calls (multiple lines), resolves customer inquiries within the prescribed authority, and when necessary directing calls to the loan
the officer or other departments
• Serves as an additional point of contact for all clients and referral partners
• Schedules appointments for loan officers
• Responds to written inquiries directed to the loan officer
• Prepares and/or composes written correspondence and memos as requested by loan officer
• Provides administrative assistance in lead management and communication
• Tracks information related to the consumer loan origination process including appraisals, credit reports, RESPA documents, preliminary title reports, customer
identification verifications, insurance information, flood certificates and various other items.
• Prepares and maintains applications in process/pipeline reports
• Completes clerical tasks such as filing, photocopying, faxing documents, scanning and organizing
• An assists loan officer in the loan documentation and any other communications necessary to properly submit a loan package to the Residential Loan Processing
department
• Responsible for the content of and maintaining supplies of loan application packages at the direction of the bank’s Compliance Department
• Creates and/or starts collateral and credit files
• Maintains loan application documents for the loan officer
• Assumes responsibility for related duties as required or as assigned
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
• A high school diploma or GED required
• An associate or undergraduate degree preferred
TECHNICAL SKILLS AND ABILITIES
• Provide courteous, knowledgeable and professional customer service both in person and on the telephone
• Strong/advanced skills operating a personal computer including Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook and navigating the internet
• Assume responsibility, display initiative, exercise good judgement and make and act upon decisions with minimal supervision
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Ability to use a basic calculator.
• Ability to compute rates, ratios and percent and the capability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts and interest. In addition to the basic calculator,
must have the ability to use a general financial calculator
• Solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of
instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
• Achieve a high standard with work processes and outcomes, is able to complete tasks with a concern for all details involved; monitors and checks work for
precision, clarity, and completeness; produce quality results
