Position Overview | The Assistant Researcher will assist with a longitudinal study on children with Specific Language Impairment and their families. The research is funded by the National Institute of Deafness and Communicative Disorders. This person will be a member of a team of researchers documenting the language skills of young children, their siblings, parents, and other family members. Data collection is carried out in customized vans, covering the area of northeast to central Kansas and western Missouri. This position requires a valid driver’s license and availability for off-site data collection, including some evenings, weekends, and overnight travel. Native level English competency, both written and oral is essential for carrying out the duties of this position. |
