Communications Specialist (Part-time)
This part-time position will implement a variety of communications-related tasks across multiple grant-funded projects related to improving opportunities of people with disabilities, their families, and the professionals who work with them. Working with senior staff, the Communication Specialist will write and edit content for multiple project purposes: newsletters, email communications, project websites, academic texts, and social media for multiple audiences using a variety of writing styles. In addition, this position will organize small events, manage social media, update and populate Drupal-based and WordPress-based websites, and provide clerical support to projects. The ideal candidate will be highly reliable, write competently for multiple purposes/audiences, detail-oriented, and be adept at problem-solving.
This position is contingent upon funding.
Work Schedule: Regular schedule of 30 hrs/week will be determined during M-F, 8-5 pm
