Responsible for designing electrical power conversion products for aircraft critical systems and cabin applications. Technologies include Dc-to-AC inverters, DC-to-DC converters, AC-to DC converters, AC-AC converters, power regulation for battery systems, power distribution and control, and other related opportunities ranging from 10W to 6000W+ capability. Exposure to the entire product lifecycle, from concept and requirements, through
design, implementation, testing and certification, to field application and product revision. Primary responsibilities: • Create schematics and direct PCB layout • Research new components, technologies, and methods to incorporate into new designs • Coordinate with other functional teams, including layout, mechanical, software, and certification engineers • Build and
troubleshoot hardware, including soldering, operation of test equipment, and daily work in both office and test lab environments • Design and execute test procedures to verify compliance with applicable performance, regulatory, and quality requirements • Design and integrate manufacturing tools as needed for new products • Document designs in required formats, including BOMs, ECOs, and work instructions. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required.
