Mommy’s Helper Inc. is seeking a Full-Time Accounting Specialist to perform a wide range of accounting related duties.
- Process client invoices via EDI and Sage 50 Accounting Software
- Pull invoices and post payments to client accounts
- Run credit card payments and pull monthly reports for updates
- Maintain customer accounts and create new when needed
- Responsible for dispute management of all accounts for shortages, chargebacks, transportation, etc. and researches account discrepancies.
- Reviews open invoices to identify delinquent accounts and initiates collection calls.
- Assist with Accounts Payable
- Keep track of and issue Salesman Commissions
- Serve as back up for Order Entry Specialist
- Answer phones
- Stock room inventory management
- Other support functions as needed.
- 2+ years accounting experience
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Word & Excel
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with Sage 50 Accounting Software preferred, but not required.
- Experience with EDI/SPS Commerce preferred, but not required.
