JOB TITLE: Aerospace Engineer  

DETAILS: Odonata Research LLC is hiring an Aerospace Engineer at its Wichita, Kansas office. The position of Aerospace Engineer is responsible for the engineering and technical disciplines needed to complete aircraft and aerospace projects. The Position requires expertise on technical, regulatory, and policy matters with specialized experience in the area of system safety and related risk analyses. The position requires experience and comprehensive knowledge of aerospace engineering principles, theories, and concepts applicable to system safety and related risk analyses, as well as an understanding of new technologies and methodologies, to solve complex problems and to develop improved technical processes. The Position requires application and integration of management principles and techniques to aircraft certification, policies, regulations, continued operational safety, and development of industry consensus standards for aircraft safety assessment and development assurance. . he Position requires excellent communication, in writing and verbally, in English. The position requires communication with cross-engineering teams. The position requires using of drafting and modeling engineering software. The position requires planning and coordinating investigation and resolution of customers' engineering issues with aircraft. The position requires evaluating product data or design from inspections or reports for conformance to engineering principles, customer requirements, or quality standards. The position requires developing design criteria for aeronautical or aerospace products or systems, including testing methods, production costs, quality standards, or completion dates. The position requires analysis of project requests, proposals, or engineering data to determine feasibility, productibility, cost, or production time of aerospace or aeronautical products. The position requires formulating models or other methods of computer analysis to develop, evaluate, or modify design, according to aircraft engineering requirements. The position requires analysis, developing, and performing calculations for structural and maneuvering engineering. The position requires planning and conducting experimental, operational, and testing on aerospace systems. The position requires researching and developing programs to evaluate or modify engineering designs on aircraft.  

Qualified applicants must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Aerospace Engineering or related engineering degree.
