Senior Training Specialist

We have an exciting, full-time position for a seasoned training and development professional with multi-faceted experience. You will join our excellent and dedicated HR team to take our corporate training to the next level of greatness. Our Senior Training Specialist will train staff at multiple levels in the organization.
What you’ll do:
- Work collaboratively with the Chief of Human Resources to assess organizational and team needs for employee and leadership development Develop, plan and administer training programs and annual calendar of courses
- Administer our Franklin Covey All Access Pass
- Research, develop and write curriculum for training sessions
- Become a certified facilitator in selected programs, i.e. Crucial Conversations
- Research, evaluate and maintain best practices and industry standards related to training and leadership development
- Keep programs & training current and relevant; generate new ideas for program development & training
- Develop, plan and administer training programs and annual calendar of courses
- Assist our Chief of Human Resources to work with the senior leadership team in supporting succession planning and strategic initiatives
- Perform other related duties as required and assigned
Experience We Need:
- Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university and five years of experience in corporate training and/or academics; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Demonstrated experience both creating training from scratch and using ‘off the shelf’ curriculum.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, LMS systems.
- Familiarity with eLearning authoring software, surveys & analytic tools is preferred.
