1). Material Handlers
Job Description
Phillips-Medisize, LLC is seeking a Material Handler, at our new manufacturing facility in Hudson, WI to support the production floor in the preparation of raw materials, packaging, component parts, work orders and labels. To keep production running smoothly; to prevent loss due to downtime;and maintain accurate inventory control.
Position Qualifications
Shift: 12 Hour Shifts - Schedule: A, B, C & D (5AM-5PM & 5PM-5AM), with rotating weekends
Essential Functions:
- Review minimum storage levels for products stored in-house and off-site
- Transfer product to in-house warehouse locations and issue Material Staging Reports
- Properly store and handle materials going in and out of staging area
- Support all warehouse areas including material handling, shipping and receiving
- Operate forklift in a safe manner
- Maintain excellent communication with team leaders and co-workers
- Maintain truck maintenance records and general housekeeping of the truck’s interior and exterior
Required Qualifications:
- Basic reading, writing, and math skills
- 6+ months of molding operation experience
- Eligible to drive company-owned vehicles is preferred
Preferred Qualifications:
- Material handling/warehouse experience
- Certification for forklift operation (will train!)
Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to work independently under minimal supervision
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position
Physical Requirements:
- Lifting Requirements: Ability to consistently lift and carry up to 50lbs
- Standing Requirements: Ability to stand an entire shift
2). Warehouse Specialists:
Job Description
Phillips-Medisize, LLC is seeking a Warehouse Specialist, at our new manufacturing facility in Hudson, WI to support manufacturing operations.
Position Qualifications
Essential Functions:
- Prepare finished goods and paperwork per customer requirements for shipment
- Coordinate freight carriers with freight deliveries
- Maintain UPS computer system, shipments/tracking
- Request proof of delivery and track shipments when required
- Receive incoming freight
- Transact material moving between facilities
- Complete proper paperwork for hazardous material shipments, which includes MSD
Required Qualifications:
- Basic reading, writing and math skills
- 1 – 3 years’ experience in shipping/receiving/materials
Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to operate a forklift (compete training & testing)
- Ability to meet the physical requirements for the position
- Knowledge of ERP systems
- Knowledge of international shipping requirements
Physical Requirements:
- Frequently lift 10 to 50 lbs. Potentially lift up to 100 lbs.
- Frequent standing, walking, carrying, reaching, and handling.
3). Project Engineers:
Position Overview:
Phillips-Medisize, a Molex company, is seeking a Project Engineer to lead a cross-functional team through design and manufacturing development projects while effectively managing budget, scope, schedule and risk; facilitate communication between the customer, different functional areas and Phillips-Medisize production facilities; manage/strengthen relationships with the customer.
Essential Functions:
- Coordinate, direct and lead engineering efforts to ensure optimum engineering of projects/programs to meet customer and manufacturing requirements
- Interface with customers on a regular basis to resolve issues
- Facilitate communication between customer, sales, engineering functions, outside vendors, manufacturing and multi-facility groups
- Maintain cost control and profitability through interaction with the accounting group, sales and our customers
- Coordinate tooling programs from kick-off to part production-ready (customer and manufacturing approval
- Create and monitor project timelines
- Develop and establish cost estimates and project options to support quoting function
- Implement technical solutions to meet customer and Phillips-Medisize cost, quality, and delivery expectations
- Extended travel to other facilities may be required to support business needs
Position Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in an engineering field with 3+ years of related experience or equivalent education/experience
- Experience in managing budget, scope, schedule and rise.
- Strong and diverse technical manufacturing skills, including injection molding tooling, materials, manufacturing, quality, and product design.
- Ability to use CAD to determine if tooling, equipment and part designs meet requirements
- Demonstrated communication, teamwork and organizational skills
- Ability to lead others (Responsibility may include direct supervision of technicians and mentoring/leading engineers)
