Product Specialist Position Job Description (HPS): A HPS is required to have knowledge of current Honda Models, equipment on the models, and available accessories.

Automobile Delivers: The HPS will take all sold customers on a tour of the service department and introduce them to their Service Advisor. An HPS will assist new customers with setting up their personal setting and programming blue tooth, audio systems, navigation systems, and programming locks.

Assisting Sales Staff: The HPS will assist the sales staff in the event that they have multiple customers working at the same time. The HPS will help by doing product presentations and demonstration drives of the Honda product.

Customer Satisfaction: The HPS will have knowledge of Honda CSE "Customer Satisfaction" surveys. Must understand how customers will be given surveys and what questions will be asked in the surveys HPS will need to have full understanding how the surveys are scored.

Accessories: The HPS must have knowledge on how to operate dealer installed accessories. These accessories include electronic accessories like DVD systems, audio systems, back up cameras, and remote starts.

Vehicle Exchange Coordination: HPS will be tasked with working the dealerships data mining software in order to identify customers with trade equity in the service department. HPS will contact the customers before their scheduled service appointment, if the customers have interested in trading the HPS will turn the information over to sales managers.

Business to Business Prospecting: HPS will work with management to identify business in our market in which we can approach to provide special pricing for their employees. The HPS will be required to visit the business with handouts displaying examples of Scholfield Honda's Business to Business pricing.
