Youth Peer Support SpecialistSumner Mental Health Center
Candidate will provide individual support to youth (from 12-21) under a System of Care Grant and as a Children’s Case Manager to provide face-to-face community psychiatric support services to youth and their families. To qualify as a Youth Peer Support Specialist, there is a requirement to be under the age of 25 years of age and have experience with a mental health challenge or to have received behavioral health services. Bachelor’s degree in psychology or human services related field, computer skills with electronic medical record experience preferred, verbal and written communication and writing skills, and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
