Production Scheduler

The Carlson Company in Park City Kansas has an opening available for a Production Scheduler in our machine shop.
This is a full time, first shift ( 8am to 4:30pm ) position with paid ( employee ) health insurance and the possibility of overtime.
We are a well established and reliable company working with the wind power industry and the manufacturer of industrial clutches and brakes.
We prefer at least 2 years of relevant experience in a similar role, but we will be willing to train the right candidate.
You will need to understand manufacturing processes, use inventory management software ( E2 ) and have strong organizational skills.

Have the ability to:

Coordinate the flow of work in production and projects from concept through completion Review work schedules, systematize the delivery of raw materials, assess production progress and provide solutions to emerging challenges

Make decisions on sequence of production and coordinate with the machine shop and
engineers

Plan and monitor material movement in the production cycle to ensure continuous
operations

Develop process improvements for inventory, manufacturing and production control
systems to meet business objectives

Investigate production problems, analyze root causes, and derive solutions

Monitor the execution of job orders and adjust production schedules for timely delivery

You must be able to pass a drug screen.
