This position will report to the Digital Sales Manager – and will be responsible for increasing overall digital revenue as an integral part of the Advertising sales team: functioning in the capacity of online sales consultant; new business development and existing account maintenance – renewing and up-selling. Focus on new business accounts and team champion of our premiere multi-media suite of digital products – impress Local; working with our core staff and Advertising managers to identify, strategize and present comprehensive multi-media marketing campaigns to businesses that include targeted display, social media, SEM, mobile, tablet, native, video and pre-roll.
Requires an understanding of competitors, a continued education and awareness of digital and media trends, cold calling, networking, prospecting, negotiating skills, ability to make decisions and solve problems, provide creative and innovative solutions. Have a strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills and the ability to multi-task. Ability to operate a personal computer and be proficient in Microsoft Office/Word, Power Point, Excel and all internet and database applications, and any other system utilized by the company.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelors Degree or 2-5 years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Digital experience a plus.
Marketing experience is a plus.
Google analytics knowledge is a plus.
This position is 8 – 5 Monday through Friday. You will need a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and proof of insurance.
