DISTRICT
FULL-TIME SUBSTITUTE TEACHER
The purpose is to help students learn subject matter and skills that will contribute to their development as mature, able, and responsible men and women in the in the absence of the regular teacher. License to substitute teach is required. This position will be based out of Elementary School with daily check in on the Primary (Pre-K - 2) side first. Building Principal will assign classroom. If there is not an unfilled position in the Primary, then through Building Principals, full-time substitute will move up to Intermediate, Middle School, or High School for assignment in unfilled classroom(s). If there are no unfilled teaching positions the full-time sub will be assigned other available task. Salary is hourly based of the current long-term substitute pay.

HIGH SCHOOL
VOCAL MUSIC TEACHER
Vocal music teacher’s provide direct instruction to vocal music student assistance for all program related tasks. Range of teaching could be from, but not limited to, develop in each pupil an appreciation of the art of music as part of general culture; to teach techniques of vocal or instrumental music expression; to discover and develop talents of pupils in the field of music.
Qualified candidates will hold appropriate certification for subject area and grade level as defined by the Kansas Department of Education. Kansas certification and/or endorsements or highly qualified, or near completion of this endorsement will be considered. There is a full-time music accompanist.

DISTRICT SECRETARY/COPY ROOM/BOARD CLERK
Central Office has an opening for a Secretary/Copy Room/Board Clerk position. This position is a combination of the three positions making it a 40 hour a week, Monday-Friday, 12-month position. Board meetings will require evening work. Generally, this is only one evening a month. The purpose of the position is to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the Central Office, to print all forms, envelopes, handbooks and publications used within the district, and to relieve the Board of paper work and impedimenta, as well as to execute expeditiously the instructions of the Board so that the Board may devote maximum attention to the central problems of education and policy determination.
