IT Administrator (Systems Engineer)
Job Summary: This position will serve as a member of one or more System Engineering teams responsible for engineering and third-level support of Window Systems, Desktop Virtualization, and Application Virtualization/BYOD. The VDI engineer will support VDI infrastructure servers, thin clients, PCs and other supporting equipment for the university computing labs and tech classrooms. This position is responsible for engineering, implementation, best practices, right sizing, troubleshooting and delivery. Installation, maintenance, upgrades and security compliance are all critical to VDI service delivery. This position coordinates with Tier 1 and Tier 2 support and operations, and performs on-call duties as needed.
