Major Duties: - Develop, coordinate, evaluate and monitor activities/services of Adult Day, Residential and Employment Services - Ensure all Federal, State, local service delivery and Article 63 - Developmental Disabilities licensing requirements are met - Monitor adult services are provided according to agency policies and protocols - Provide, training, supervision, guidance/instruction and evaluation of Managers and other assigned staff - Conduct supervision meetings on a regular basis - Monitor that performance evaluations are completed per agency protocols - Review counseling statements and provide input and guidance to the supervisory staff - Facilitate the regularly scheduled adult services management staff team meetings - Attend internal and external committee meetings as scheduled - Facilitate scheduled parent/guardian meetings - Provide input into strategic planning process - Provide input into budget development - Promote effective mission-based management - Support the mission and practices of Easterseals Capper Foundation and participate in organizational activities. - Follow organizational policies - All other duties as assigned Qualifications: - College degree in physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, special education or related health and human services field - Experience in IDD Waiver services and/or non-profit services - Supervisory experience - Read, write and speak fluent English - Must be able to pass background checks and drug test per agency procedures Physical Demands: - Lift up to 25 pounds - Majority of the time is spent in office setting and occasionally in the areas day and residential services are provided. - May need to respond and assist staff support persons displaying aggressive behavior Work Environment: - Direct contact with individuals who are severely physically and/or developmentally disabled and who may exhibit unpredictable behavior and uncontrollable outbursts. The physical characteristics of the work environment are such that noise and odor control procedures are required. May work with individuals with Hepatitis B and/or other blood borne pathogens.
